Spo70 (encoded by YGR225) is similar to the first two of seven distinctive WD repeats of the FZY/FZR family of ubiquitin-conjugating specificty factors. Comparison is shown for Spo70, Cdh1 and Cdc20 of S. cerevisiae, fizzy-related proteins of Drosphila and Xenopus, D-Fzr and X-Fzr, respectively, and Cdc20 of C. elegans.
