The following items were designed for the Technology Preview 2 version of Xgrid, and cannot be used with Xgrid 1.0 in Tiger.
StatXG: an Xgrid plug-in that you can use to monitor a cluster, log activity to disc in real-time, automatically save current status to disk for web updates and browse agents.
The code for the plug-in has been released under the 'modified BSD license'. It can be found in the downloaded item. It was developed on my own personal time on my home machine and is not part of the Xgrid@Stanford project per se. However, I did use it to monitor the cluster used for the Xgrid@Stanford project. In particular, this plug-in allowed me to display a live gauge.

Xgrid Widget for Tiger Preview: check out this ancient web page, where Alexander Griekspoor explains how and why an Xgrid widget could be developed for Tiger. Using the Xgrid@Stanford project as an example, he had developed a demo widget to show the activity of the cluster in real time and with some stunning graphics. The widget was developed before Tiger came out, and only worked on Safari 1.3 beta. An updated version for Tiger is now available for download.
