Configuring ISIS for Macs
You need a separate configuration file for each
database you want to access
- MDDR-3D
Database
- This database contains over 90,000
different organic chemicals and their 3D structure (often
obtained by computation rather than crystal structure). You can
search by a variety of criteria including chemical name,
chemical structure, molecular weight, literature
information.
- RXN
Browser
- This database contains a list of organic
reactions.
- You can search the database for reactions
that start with a certain synthon and end with a different
synthon. This can either be the entire molecule or just a
fragment.
- Metabolite
Browser
- This database contains metabolic
intermediates. Not only molecules in normal biochemical
pathways, but products of the metabolism of other organic
molecules.
- ACD
Finder
- This database contains over 250,000
chemicals that can be purchased. Complete information on
vendors is available. You can search by name, structure, MW,
CAS number, and obtain a list of suppliers and their
prices.
